■ Rico Hand-Dyed Happiness (100% wool, 100g/390m) 2 or 3 skeins of Salmon Yellow (006) – see Notes

■ A 5mm (US H/8) hook

■ Broomstick lace tool, 25mm or 25mm (US 15) knitting needle
