If Antiques Could Talk...

Campaign trail

drawers was handed down from my maternal grandmother. I rescued it from my parents’ garage in 1972. It had been in– one of my mother’s and my favourite films. She always said the chest was his as it can be dismantled as campaign furniture. My nan was given it as a wedding present on her marriage at the end of the war. I still love it and, although I can’t verify its connection to Denys, I will continue to cherish it and maintain its story and pass it on to my family.
