Preserving the season

Home-made jams and chutneys are infinitely tastier than most store-bought varieties. The same goes for home-grown produce too, but that doesn’t mean you have to spend your life gardening. The pleasures of growing your own can be enjoyed by anyone, even if you have the tiniest patch and limited time. A separate vegetable plot is by no means essential – just use whatever space you have.
