STEP 1: STOCK PREPARATION

As we did with our previous build, begin by cutting all of your workpieces to size and four-squaring them. Don’t concern yourself yet with squaring up your end grain. Ensuring all faces and sides are the correct dimensions and are 90° to each other is all you need to do to start.
