I knew virtually nothing about the Versys range when I went and picked up the X 300. I have of course seen them out and about, but I've never ridden one and never been drawn to the sparkly green finish.

As such, I was sufficiently impressed to find our test model came in a ‘metallic moondust grey’ finish, which is indeed far superior to the sparkles and actually pretty damn striking. It’s a good-looking bike.
