Pining from the sideline

I spent my final week of July 2020 in hospital with appendicitis and I started my first week of August 2020 having my appendix removed.

Certainly not how I imagined to be spending these few weeks of what I hoped would be the Olympic year, but has anything in 2020 been how anybody expected? (if yes, then do please get in touch because I would love to hear your reliable predictions for 2021!)
