Estimates of our glorious coastline vary, but map specialist Ordnance Survey puts that of Great Britain at 11,073 miles. That’s a lot to explore!

The terrain across all of those miles varies from the cliffs of Scotland to the Jurassic Coast of southern England. But perhaps the most popular stretches are the miles of gorgeous sandy beaches.

And while you’re at the seaside this summer, why not join a beach clean-up, to keep our shores looking their best?
