 Cycling Weekly caught up with Harry Tanfield while he was still in Andorra finishing off a two-week block of altitude training, just a few days before he was due to fly east for the Tour of Poland.

The Yorkshireman kicked off his WorldTour career last year, with Katusha-Alpecin, but a takeover by Israel Cycling Academy at the end of the season left him effectively jobless. Fortunately, he landed a new contract with AG2R – which on the day we spoke announced a new partnership with Citroën. Here, Tanfield talks us through a full-on week at altitude.
