The most crucial part of performing a move like this is the ramp itself. You’ll need a section on a wave that is steep and throwing a little “clicker” section, which looks similar to a hip at a skatepark … except it’s moving. The best waves for attempting this manoeuvre are wedgy peaks since they usually offer only one section being the “clicker” section and give you a heap of speed right from take-off (e.g. lovers at D’bah). As well as having the right wave, you’ll want helpful wind blowing toward you. This is a major key in sticking the board to your feet.
