ACD Reunion Circa ‘ 78

I joined the staff of Old Cars in September 1978 and almost immediately went to the Antique Automobile Club of America Fall National Meet at Hershey, Pa. Growing up on the East Coast, I had attended several “Hershey” shows before, but that 1978 trip was the first time we went as a vendor, selling Old Cars subscriptions, T-shirts, Old Cars Price Guides and the “Best of Old Cars” books from the Old Cars trailer.

From that point on, we went to many car shows and swap meets throughout the United States, but for years we were not put on the schedule to go to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club Reunion and ACD
