Astrology Looks at Plagues and Pandemics
The Four Horseman of the Apocalypse are allegorical figures mentioned in Zechariah and Ezekiel in the Old Testament and in Revelation in the New Testament. While the individual figures themselves have been given varying interpretations, in a general sense they represent the fact that conquest, war, famines, and plagues (as either disease, or swarms of insects or other creatures) are known to have afflicted the human race since recorded history began. The latest outbreak of pestilence, ‟Coronavirus disease 2019,” which we now know simply as Covid-19, is a viral disease first noticed in Wuhan, China, a city with a population of over 11 million people that features an open-air “wet” market where live animals such as bats, birds, snakes, rabbits, and more exotic animals are traded and bought, whether for use as pets, the value of their parts, or to be eaten. Covid-19 may have spread from a live bat or snake to a human there, and as of early June of 2020 had infected people in nearly every country, with known infections numbering near seven million, four-hundred thousand of which had resulted in death.

The beginning of this sad turn of events was signaled on December 31, 2019, when the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that they had been officially informed by the Chinese government of an infection by this virus having reached epidemic proportions, and many scientists later came to believe it had actually been detected in Wuhan in early December, and may have been active in
