WAYNE HULLEN’S FRONT ENGINE DR AGSTER HALLELUJAH

WAYNE Hullen has been interested in hot rods, customs and drag racing since 1967 and was inspired by local hot rods cruising around his hometown of Timaru. As a youngster, he read a lot of hot rod magazines and one particular book which got him really keen on drag racing. At the age of 12, he read a book called Hot Rod Road by Carl Henry Rathjen. The story was about a young man who started drag racing an E/Stock ‘55 Chev and went on to build a Fuel Dragster with a SOHC Ford engine. This book really influenced Wayne, and he still has a copy.
