SPORTING RIFLE SUPPORTS BLM STATEMENT

Sporting Rifle is just one brand owned by a large multi-national media organisation, Future Plc. As business with staff across the globe, Black Lives Matter to our organisation. In the light of recent events across the world, the stance of Future was reiterated by CEO Zillah Byng-Thorne.

On 1 June, Ms Byng-Thorne wrote to all members of staff and said: “We believe we are a part of our communities. We believe we have a responsibility to those communities, not just to say the right thing but to set an example. So we are going to find ways to change, to be better. Right now we do not know what that ultimately looks like but we do know that it starts with listening and belief. Belief that we can do more, belief that we have an opportunity to help make the world a better place.”
