It's big, gangly and the nearest thing to an oversized supermotard in this fleet of fine folly. It's also the only V-twin among these supernakeds, and consequently has a very different character to the rest of the bunch. The torque this beast kicks out is as potent as a vindaloo with added ghost chillies, but that's also why it's so moreish. The SDR has always been a hard-hitting machine, and it's great to note that after its facelift for 2020 the KTM still holds on to that playful character. The engine is exciting, the power delivery vivacious and the fuelling is hard to knock. Okay, it stutters a bit down low, but once your revs are over 3000rpm there's no holding back until you hit the limiter.
