Perfect respite

a hectic few days in the town of Savusavu in Fiji, cramming as much food, fuel, water and gas into the boat as was physically possible, we headed out into the Koro sea bursting at the seams and set sail direction east. The south easterly trade winds were predicted to have more south than east in them for the next twelve hours so we were eager to take this opportunity to begin our journey to the Lau group of islands on the eastern side of Fiji, with a night sail to Viani Bay, 40 nautical miles east of Savusavu.
