A common area for the dreaded rust worm on a Mini is the door bottom, but thankfully replacement outer skins and lower repair sections are readily available. And if you don’t mind getting a little dirty, they are fairly easy to repair. You will need access to a range of power tools including a grinder and a Mig welder, as well as a door skinning tool which is used to tightly crimp the new skin in position. A T30 Torx bit is required to remove the hinges from the door.
