Reopened Wisbech line may still have a place for heritage

A POTENTIAL reopening of the mothballed March to Wisbech line by Network Rail would not necessarily close the door on a heritage presence, campaigners have said.
A draft full business case study, commissioned by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, has reported that restoring a heavy rail link between Wisbech and Cambridge would be practicable and offer value for money.
