Quilters Companion

Bell bird

The lilting tones of the bellbird, familiar and loved hexagons and the cosy Minky backing make this a divine quilt for a baby or toddler. The naive appliqué shapes, designed by Marilyn’s husband, add another sweet element. These instructions are for needleturn appliqué, but of course you can substitute that technique with machine appliqué or raw-edge appliqué with a hand or machine blanket stitch.

Finished size: 104cm x 81cm (41in x 32in)
