    Thanks to Herb for his introduction to the HEDDphone ONE.

    Let me add some remarks about “what happened before.” Oskar Heil, inventor of the Air Motion Transformer, had presented a headphone himself, but it was never produced. Although I visited him quite a few times, eager to start with a compact version of his AMT idea, I missed the chance to see them. In the end, he dropped the project.
