STAR LETTER

Bring back the good ol’ days

I first picked up a rugby ball in 1954 when I was 15 and have never let go of it since. The players of today will never come up to the standard of yesteryear.

Let us not forget the style of Duckham and Spencer and Barry John. What about Mike Gibson with his sidestep, Hamish Kemp dominating lineouts, and the grace and pace of Arthur Smith?

All these great players made the game worth watching
