FINDING STOKE

“Dude! Sorry man. Stuck in my head. Not sure I am going to finish this. Just going to take it peak by peak and probably bail at 20km. Sorry for wasting your time.”

It was 4am and I was in the parking lot of the Virgin Active in George. In a few minutes, I was about to recce the George 6 Peaks FKT Challenge route, solo. Not stoked. Fortunately, I had a guide for the first peak, or else I would have driven home.
