hen it comes to experiencing the breadth of beautiful Colorado, there’s nothing like flying in Boulder. Meeker says any age over infant is welcome. “At Fair Winds, we have the privilege of providing our balloon flights to locals, as well as many out-of-state visitors. Our youngest guest was about two or three years old; and our most senior guest was 102.” While ballooning started in France in 1783, the tradition and entertainment of it all has grown in popularity in the Mile High City. “Guests celebrate everything from birthdays and anniversaries to engagements and weddings. We have even done memorial flights for loved ones as well as precious family animals.” It’s no wonder Fair Winds has been successfully serving Denver for 30 years. They strive for every flight to inspire a feeling of wonderment, happiness, and optimism no matter who you are.
