I am never happier than when outside – gardening, cooking and eating – and we have a shepherd’s hut, so I can even sleep out there too. Trouble is I’m a bit of a wimp, so July and August are the ideal warm, dry months for me. Then I can live in the garden, picking flowers by the bucketload, harvesting marvellous veg and cooking and eating there as well. The garden is the centre of everything.
