Thanks extended

I just couldn’t resist dropping you a line in appreciation of The Classic MotorCycle magazine.

I am coming up to 84 years old and have been a motor car enthusiast from my youth. I was always interested in motorbikes, but have only ridden one once, though I had a scooter for a short while and have been a club cyclist, racing most of my life.

Keep up the good work.

If anyone can help point me in the right direction, it would be very much appreciated. I can be contacted by email bobguy1@talktalk.net or mobile 07901977985 . Thank you.

Bob Guy, via email.

Better Foot Forward
I have a problem with British motorcycle footrests, in that they’re all positioned too far forward for my personal taste. Maybe it’s because of my trials-riding background – this is my 50th active year in the feet-up game – but I much prefer the foot
