CLASSIC COUNTDOWN Training For The Bowral Classic

IT’S NEVER EASY TRAINING THROUGH WINTER BUT IF you’re planning to ride the Bowral Classic which will be held this year on Sunday, 18 October in the picturesque NSW southern highlands, you need to start training at least three months ahead.

2020 has been dealt with the added complication of the COVID-19 pandemic which, for several months, put a lid on bunch riding and forced many riders indoors. While indoor training is a wonderful supplement for any training program, nothing can fully replace real roading experience.

The 2020 Bowral Classic has been designed four riders of a wide range of abilities – with a boom in ‘new recruits’ to the sport over the past few months there are ride options from amateur through to full-blown pro. These range from the 35 km Social Classic up to the 160 km
