THE SPANISH SOLUTION

Dictator General Francisco Franco ruled Spain with an iron fist in an iron glove from 1939 until his death in 1975. He had risen to power after the bloody Spanish Civil War, which his Republican side had won with the help of the Condor Legion of Hitler's Nazi Germany and the support of fascist Italy.
