Providence is defined as divine guidance or care. Provenance, a record of ownership of a valuable item, used as a guide to authenticity or quality. Simply, you could say Steve Friskup relies on providence for his faith and provenance for his job as an auctioneer, but that wouldn’t be entirely true.
