In my last Behind the Wheel in the February issue, I explained how my 1934 Coupe had been off the road throughout 2019 due to an engine problem. Fortunately, I also have a 1939 Ford pick-up truck, which was recently seen in Classic American in a tech feature about installing a Stromberg electronic distributor on a flathead motor, and so this was my main ride throughout last summer, and it didn't disappoint.

The first longer run out for the truck came just a few days after the new dizzy was fitted (so a good chance to test it out) with a weekend hot rod reliability run around the Isle of Wight, hosted by the Hampshire-based Rolling Blokes.
