ongratulations on a wonderful article in the March 19 issue on the 1953 Cadillac concept car and bringing back memories of my youth in my native Southern California. Dixon Cadillac would often have the Harry Karl 1953 displayed in its showroom in Hollywood and for several weeks in the early 1970s, there was an Eldorado station wagon of sorts on its used car lot. It was not a Harry Karl car, as by that time he was the “collector” of an ex-Eddie Fisher wife. In the mid 1950s, Karl did own a couple of Cadillac woodie wagons.
