CHICAGO - Mitch Trubisky spoke to the media Friday for the first time since the Chicago Bears traded for Nick Foles, declared it an "open competition" to be the starting quarterback and declined Trubisky's fifth-year option.
Trubisky said he was "kind of pissed off in a good way" when the Bears traded for Foles but also said he wasn't surprised the team declined his option given the way he played in 2019.
