Tatler Hong Kong

Heard around this month

IT’S OFFICIAL: the CEO of Beautiful Destinations, and Miss Universe 2015 (yes, the one who actually won that year despite Steve Harvey’s embarrassing on-stage gaffe), are an item and they couldn’t be happier. After months of speculation, during which their respective fans have pointed out clues on social media—for real, someone spotted Wurtzbach’s reflection in Jauncey’s stove—the pair. They first crossed paths in London, where Jauncey approached Wurtzbach to introduce himself. the bashful entrepreneur admits. What’s more, the two recognised each other from their respective covers. “He came up to me and told me about how much he loved the Philippines, where he had been to a few times for work,” says Wurtzbach. “There was definitely an immediate spark. We couldn’t stop talking. I liked that he was always smiling.” We expect producer credits when the inevitable meet-cute rom-com gets greenlit.
