When Citroën announced its return to South Africa late last year, it did so with a revised line-up that they hoped would appeal to trends followed by the buying public in recent times, with a B-segment hatchback and two small SUVs.
The range-topping C5 Aircross, based on Peugeot’s 5008, carries much of the company’s hopes in a segment that’s still growing in popularity and commands a healthy section of the market. The badge is derived from the C5 sedan that we last saw doing battle against other large family sedans –a vehicle that came with all the bells and whistles.
