Exuding glamour, best-selling author Melanie Blake cuts a stylish figure as she opens up her stunning home for the first time to HELLO! and tells us why, inspired by Jackie Collins, her mantra is: “Support and strengthen women.”
“I still live by the message I found in all the novels of the icon Jackie Collins: girls can do anything,” says Melanie, whose debut book The Thunder Girls , a glamorous thriller about betrayal, murder and revenge involving a 1980s girl band, is being adapted for a TV series, a film and a UK theatre tour.
She adds: “I was told the four women in were too old, that nobody wanted to read about women in their 50s, but I stood by my girls and everyone loved them.”
