Ever since it first opened its gates in 1913, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, originally known as the Great Spring Show, has been a colourful highlight of the royal calendar, showcasing beautiful blooms and stunning gardens created by world-class designers – and even royals themselves.
While the annual festival has been cancelled this year, TV viewers are still in for a treat.
“We’re going to bring some floral fabulousness straight from our own backof fronting some of the BBC’s special series of programmes in what would have been Chelsea week. “It is still going to be the icing on the cake of spring.”
