For three years, Kip Dodds was Diana, Princess of Wales’s personal florist. He arranged all the flowers for her private apartments, her parties and her gifts, becoming, over the course of time, a close friend.

Their friendship came about when her butler Paul Burrell one day went into his shop, Kip’s Flowers, near Kensington Palace, and asked for a sample arrangement for the Princess. She loved it – and the rest, as they say, is history.
