I started writing this column in the January 1999 edition of Fisho, and over the last twenty odd years the consistent theme has been to provide readers with the technical knowledge to help them become better anglers and hopefully catch more fish. Along the way we’ve also tried to educate anglers about the importance of good fish handling skills and release techniques to ensure the best possible survival rates for released fish.
