Ryan Murphy was just 4 when he decided he wanted a career in showbiz, after his mother and nan took him to see Barbra Streisand’s musical comedy Funny Girl. “I was like, ‘That’s it! I’m gay. And I’m going into show business,” Murphy told The New Yorker.
