A Californian teacher has set a Guinness World Record after playing the video game, Just Dance, for over 138 hours. When Carrie Swidecki first played a similar arcade game, called Dance Dance Revolution, it eventually led to the teacher participating in local tournaments and, from there, her passion continued to evolve. Swidecki now holds six movement game related records including, the longest video game marathon, the longest video game marathon on a rhythm game and the most high scores achieved on a dance video game series in 24 hours. At Otto’s Video Games and More, in Bakersfield, Swidecki secured her latest record breaking achievement of the longest video game marathon on a Just Dance game declared
