    Mel Giedroyc is best known for making us laugh alongside her comedy partner and best friend Sue Perkins, but the TV and radio presenter and actress is currently enjoying a new partnership. She and her radio DJ pal Andy Bush have teamed up for podcast Mel Giedroyc is Quilting , with the pair making a patchwork quilt from fabric donated by friends, famous names and listeners.

    “Mary Berry sent us a sundress that she wore in theon the BBC. “It’s classic Bezza – very jolly and quite practical. Red cotton with a white pattern. I made five patches out of it. I was really moved that she sent it to us.”
