What’s the most important advice or life lesson your mum has given you?
When you are feeling down, go and do something for someone less fortunate. It always puts your problems into perspective.
How do you hope to spoil your mum this year?
I’m hoping by then I’ll just be able to give her a hug!
Do you have a favourite tradition for Mother’s Day?
We always go to my parents’ property for Mother’s Day and have a family game of tennis. It can get pretty competitive!
Please tell us why your mum has always been a wonderful role model to you?
My mum is constantly serving others, in big ways and little ways. More than once I have had friends tell me how my mum had helped them through a tough time … without me even knowing!
