Nur Fazura

Having been involved in the entertainment industry for close to two decades, collecting a number of accolades along, during the magazine’s relaunch party on March 4. When asked about how she felt being the symbol for ‘Influence,’ Fazura humbly replied, “It’s definitely an honour because I think of equality when I think of ‘The New Asia,’ and being in Malaysia, where diversity is largely welcomed and celebrated, to represent that is a huge deal for me.” The entertainer also acknowledged the support of her fans, which played a significant role in her successful career. “They (her fans) tell me that my story inspired them, in ways that I never thought I could,” she shares, “and that in turn inspires me to use my voice to spread the message of equality and the values I believe in, because I want that nomination—the reason for my being in the list—to mean something.”
