They call these things ‘barn finds’ in the car world, and the excitement of pulling the cover off one must rival the feeling experienced by Howard Carter when he discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun, whatever the relative merits of the treasure in question; although many of us might feel that a one-off S&S yacht, in many ways holds its own in that comparison.
