One of the best parts of writing for Goldmine is that I get a chance to write about an era that I not only grew up in but whose music, and the people involved in its creation, remain indelibly etched into my DNA.

The sudden upheaval of the coronavirus pandemic prevented an in-person interview with Jenny Boyd about her new book, Jennifer Juniper, and whose personal appearance was to coincide with the March 2020 Beatlefest in New Jersey.

I was sent the book and my first inclination was to skim through just the Beatle parts which I thought would take up most of the book. I do write a Beatles column after all, and I would have assumed that that would have been the focus.

I was wrong and happily so. I read the entire book and was awed by its scope and specificity. I really loved the fact that George Harrison is just referred to as a great friend and brother-in-law,
