BREWER'S COOPER BODY REBUILDING

We last reported on the build in the March issue, when the Mini had been settled into the Acespeed workshops, and had not only been inspected by Andy Harrison and his team, but had also come under the expert scrutiny of the Yorkshire branch of the Mini Cooper Register members. The car had found widespread approval.

Mike describes his ideas for the project as a 1964/2020 Cooper. He wants all the best of the classic Cooper S, but with a few enhancements to make the car more usable and enjoyable on modern roads – this is not going to be a trailer queen, he wants to get behind the wheel as much as he can.
