‘I have done a hell of a lot of gardening. We live in the Cotswolds, and I’ve got quite a large garden that needs maintenance. It keeps me fit and stops me going mad, although that is starting to wear off a little bit now. I’m a bit embarrassed really, as I’ve seen people learning languages, reading War and Peaceand learning to paint, and I’ve done nothing!
