A TIME TO BE OF SERVICE
IF YOU didn’t know better, you’d think they were simply two community workers delivering food parcels to the needy during the Los Angeles lockdown.
But there’s something familiar about this pair – her long, dark ponytail and elegant frame, his red hair visible under a baseball cap. Even with their faces obscured behind surgical masks you don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to see this is Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
They might not be working royals anymore, but they’ve clearly decided to do their bit for the less fortunate in their new adopted city.
The Sussexes haven’t had the easiest time of it since the outbreak of the coronavirus – their social media posts encouraging people to wash their hands and practise social distancing were ridiculed and dismissed as patronising and trite by many a critic.
But the people of LA had nothing but praise for them after the couple took to the streets on behalf of the Project Angel Food feeding project.
It’s the first sighting of Harry (35) and Meghan (38) since they left Canada for California recently and the outing was captured on surveillance cameras
