Yet for many, those obstacles are not enough to put them off having a crack at the big time.

Local Hawkesbury performer, Madyson Disbray, is one such artist.

She has decided to take the plunge into the deep unknown world of the music industry and has already developed a steady following locally.

And her talents haven’t gone unnoticed. Hawkesbury City Council awarded her the 2020 Community Arts Award labelling her “an inspiration to local youth, supporting local musicians and increasing awareness of the local talent in the Hawkesbury”.
