Ripping open a packet of Peanut M&Ms, I sat and enjoyed the sweet treat in my university dorm.
As I took a bite into a chocolate ball, I heard a loud crack in my jaw.
That doesn’t sound good, I thought to myself.
Feeling around inside my mouth, I was certain that I’d broken a tooth.
But all my teeth were fine.
I wasn’t in any pain, and when I checked in the mirror, everything looked fine.
