Honours for Sailability volunteers and sailors

Described as an ‘all-round lovely human being’, Flossy Campion was one of several volunteers who have been recognised at the RYA Sailability Awards.

The 18-year-old, who donates her time at Whitefriars Sailability near Swindon, was named Young Person of the Year for 2020.

Campion has been volunteering at Whitefriars since 2018, working with the Blind Sailing Team.

The Volunteer of the Year accolade was awarded to Annie Molyneux for her contribution to Rutland Sailability and the Challenger Class.
