egarding Russell ‘Tago’ Taylor’s valve clearance problems with his T595: I have a T300 Speed Triple and serviced it myself, and that engine suffered the same problem. After adjusting the inlet valves twice I asked a Triumph dealer here in the south east who has been with Triumph forever about this problem, and he asked how many times had I adjusted them. I said twice and was advised to change the valves. This I did and the relevant parts for the top-end overhaul (six valves, gaskets, bolts, etc. Now when stripped I found that the inlet valves were ‘penny on a stick’ style just like a car
